Some people find it hard to absorb math. I believe that remaining calm while using a plethora of problem solving solutions makes the math learning process much more accessible. On a personal note, I have one daughter who innately understands math and another who finds it hard to grasp. However, despite one's innate understanding, helping both of them challenges me. Helping them also proves rewarding. As a tutor, I work hard to discover the source of the problem or problems. Then I employ a number of approaches to help the student reach clarification. I tutor math ranging from elementary school level to more advanced levels such as calculus. Within each math field, I work on different levels. For example, I tutor both algebra and algebra 3/4. I went to the Georgia Institute of Technology-Main Campus. I now live in Amesbury, Massachusetts, and I like biking, playing golf, taking photos, and reading.
